Rare Listings in North Lake Tahoe
Summer is in full swing at Lake Tahoe and it is great to see a wide diversity of new listings coming onto the market. On the north shore of Lake Tahoe, buyers will find interesting lakeview and lakefront homes. These are located in areas where we haven’t seen homes for sale in Lake Tahoe for awhile.
Brockway and Dollar Point
When searching for homes in Brockway, buyers will find several condos for sale in Brockway Hot Springs. Homes in Brockway Hot Springs are rarely listed, but one just sold and another has been listed for sale at $7.75 million. This is an excellent opportunity to gain access to the private amenities of Brockway Hot Springs.
Dollar Point is another neighborhood that just had a rare lakefront listing hit the market and quickly go pending. In just a few days, it sold for $14.5 million. I recently listed a home for sale on Panorama Drive that is in the Dollar Point neighborhood and is offered at $1.2 million. Dollar Point also has excellent amenities for its homeowners.
Carnelian Bay and Agate Bay Homes for Sale
Carnelian Bay and Agate Bay are also seeing an influx of listings. Over the many decades that I have sold real estate around Lake Tahoe, I have specialized in these neighborhoods. Positioned on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, many of the homes have an Old Tahoe feel and offer a charming setting. Compared to lakefront homes, these neighborhoods offer entry level pricing.
There are currently 16 homes for sale in Agate Bay and Carnelian Bay, ranging in prices from $9,650,000 to just under one million. Homes in Agate Bay offer amenities to the Agate Bay Pier and Swim Club. Both neighborhoods back to miles of cross-country skiing and hiking/biking trails.
